Job Role: Purchasing Manager
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing the purchasing and procurement processes for a company or organization. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Experience in negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers
- Strong knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with inventory management software and databases
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Professional certifications such as CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) are highly desirable.
